PeptiPlan (“we,” “us,” or “the app”) is a personal organizational tool for protocol scheduling, dose logging, vial estimates, and an optional community chat. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used.
Summary
- Your protocols, vials, dose logs, notes, and settings are stored on your device.
- PeptiPlan does not require an account for personal tracking data.
- PeptiPlan does not use advertising or analytics trackers.
- The optional community chat is the only feature that sends data to a server (Firebase).
- PeptiPlan is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.
Information stored on your device
Depending on how you use the app, PeptiPlan may store locally:
- Protocol names, schedules, reminders, and configuration you enter
- Dose logs, notes, and observation tags you enter
- Vial details and estimated remaining volumes based on values you enter
- App preferences (appearance, notification privacy mode, thresholds)
- Chat nickname, chat consent status, and blocked chat user IDs (if you use chat)
This information remains on your device unless you export it yourself or use the optional community chat as described below.
Optional community chat (network)
If you choose to use community chat, the app connects to Firebase (Google) to deliver messages. In that case we process:
- Your chosen nickname
- The message text you send
- An anonymous per-device identifier (Firebase Anonymous Authentication) used for sending, receiving, blocking, and reporting
- Report signals when you report a message
Chat messages are visible to other app users in the shared room. Do not post personal health details, real names, contact information, or other sensitive personal data in chat.
Personal protocol, vial, and history data are not uploaded as part of chat.
Notifications
If you enable reminders, PeptiPlan schedules local notifications on your device. In private notification mode, lock-screen text is generic. Descriptive mode may include a peptide name and scheduled time you already stored locally. Notification content is not sent to our servers.
Exports and deletion
- Export: You may export data as JSON or CSV. Exported files are under your control.
- Delete All Data: Removes local app records on the device and cancels pending local reminders. Previously exported files are not deleted. Leaving chat does not automatically erase messages already sent to the shared room.
Third-party services
When chat is used, Firebase (Google) processes nickname, message text, anonymous identifiers, and report metadata under Google’s terms and privacy policy for Firebase. We do not sell your personal information and do not use third-party advertising SDKs.
Children
PeptiPlan is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Safety disclaimer
PeptiPlan is an organizational and record-keeping tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnoses, treatment recommendations, dosing instructions, or safety guidance. Calculations are estimates based entirely on information you enter. Always verify entries independently and consult a qualified healthcare professional before making health-related decisions.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after updates means you accept the revised policy.
